Outdoor & Indoor Attendance Guidelines for the Fall Athletic Season 2020

 

WARRIOR STADIUM

Personal Health and Responsibility

  • Do not attend if you have symptoms related to Covid-19 including a fever of 100.4 or higher, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
  • Do not attend if you have been in contact with anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 14 days.
  • We ask for everyone to maintain 6 ft. social distancing unless sitting or standing with immediate family.
  • Face coverings are required and to be used while on school grounds. This guideline applies to all who are in attendance both on the visitor’s side and home side of the stadium. This also includes sideline personnel. Players are exempt from this requirement. We thank you for your cooperation.

Seating

  • Capacity of the stadium will be reduced to 50% attendance with limited seating for all varsity scheduled football dates.  
  • Every other row in the bleachers on both the home and visitor side of the stadium will be restricted for seating and marked off with signs and blue tape that will prohibit seating.
  • There will be no seating capacity limits for single Middle School, 9th grade, or JV scheduled dates for football.
  • Please visit www.littlehawkeyeconference.com for schedule of all games and all levels.

Student Sections

  • Students are required to wear face coverings while in attendance. This guideline applies to all who are in attendance both on the visitor’s side and home side of the stadium.
  • Norwalk students will occupy the last two sections on the south end of the stadium.
  • Students will need to socially distance 6’ from each other and occupy every other row designated for seating. There is to be no seating in the bleachers taped off in blue with signs prohibiting seating.
  • There will be NO Middle School Student Section

Ticket Purchasing & Admissions

  • All student, family, single adult, gold, and staff activity passes will be honored for admission. Entrance into the stadium with an activity pass will be as it has been in the past. You don’t need to purchase a ticket to enter the game if you have a pass.
  • Tickets for all football games scheduled MS & HS will be sold ON-LINE only. Links for varsity foootball games will be made available for the public 36 hours in advance of the game.
  • ON-LINE Ticket purchasing links will be made available on the Athletic / Activities website at www.norwalkwarriors.org under the On Line Purchasing Tab. The link will also be communicated through the Norwalk Activities Twitter feed @Norwalk_Pride
  • Links will also be sent to the visiting teams in advance for ON-LINE purchasing only. For varsity home FB games there will be two separate links for ON-LINE ticket purchasing. One link for the visiting team and one link for Norwalk fans.
  • For varsity scheduled football dates there will be 1,000 tickets available for purchase on the home side of the stadium. Tickets are only available for purchase ON-LINE
  • For varsity scheduled football dates there will be 450 tickets available for purchase on the visitor side of the stadium. Tickets are only available for purchase ON-LINE
  • Admission for all varsity scheduled dates is $5, K-Adults. Tickets are only available for purchase ON-LINE
  • Admission for all 9th & JV games not played on a varsity date as well middle school scheduled dates, is $3 K-Adult. Tickets are only available for purchase ON-LINE.  
  • Students 5th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Concessions

  • Concessions will be available but there will be a limited selection of items.
  • Exact change, credit card, or debit card ONLY!!
  • Please respect the designated entrance & exit lines as there will be a limited number of windows open for sales.

Live Stream & Radio

  • Norwalk Varsity Home Football Games will live streamed on the following link:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxHb8CRGuc2jqqKKJ2C4RvA
  • For the first time there will also be radio broadcasts for varsity football games. KNIA/KRLS Radio will be broadcasting live. Use the following link to listen: https://www.kniakrls.com/listen-live/
  • The following are the dates that will be broadcast
    •  August 28th – Norwalk @ Carlisle – KNIA3 stream
    • September 4th – Indianola @ Norwalk – KNIA 94.3 stream
    • September 11th – Norwalk @ ADM – KNIA3 stream
    • October 2nd – Norwalk @ Winterset – KNIA3 stream
    • October 9th – Hoover @ Norwalk – KNIA3 stream

Security Measures

  • All fans are reminded of the following security measures, implemented in 2019, that will be enforced at all home varsity football games:
    • Security measures will be implemented beginning at 7 PM and will be enforced until the conclusion of the varsity game. Please note that if there is only a varsity game then security measures will begin at 6:30 PM.  
    • There will be two security personnel at the home gate and one at the visitor’s gate. Each gate will also be staffed by a Law Enforcement Officer.
    • Students are not allowed to exit and re-enter both for home and visiting students after 7 PM if there are two games scheduled or after entry for a varsity game only.  
    • Students are not allowed to cross in front of the stadium building to access the opponents or home side seating.
    • No drink containers of any kind or bottles sealed or unsealed.
    • NO coolers
    • NO skateboards
    • NO pets
    • NO footballs, soccer balls, or any other type of such items.
    • NO signs or noisemakers

 

INDOOR GYM FACILITIES

  • Links will also be sent to the visiting teams in advance for ON-LINE purchasing only. The same link will be used for both schools for volleyball matches both MS & HS levels.
  • Admission for all high school varsity scheduled dates is $5, 9 – Adults and $3 for students K – 8th. Tickets are only available for purchase ON-LINE
  • Admission for all middle school volleyball scheduled dates is $3 K-Adult. Tickets are only available for purchase ON-LINE.  
  • Students 5th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult.
