New Security Measures for Norwalk Home Varsity FB Games at Warrior Stadium

Warrior Fans,

Due to the size of the crowds that we are experiencing at home varsity football games on Friday nights the Norwalk Community School District in conjunction with the Norwalk Police Department will be implementing new security measures for the safety, security,  and well being of fans attending games beginning with the homecoming game against Carlisle on Friday, September 27 and through the rest of the season. There will be security and police personnel at both the home and visitor entrances and nforcement of these security measures will begin at 7 PM and last until the conclusion of the varsity game. The following are those security measures that will be implemented but not limited to: 

1.Students will not be allowed re-entry into the stadium after 7 PM. If you exit after 7 PM you will not be allowed to re-enter. No Exceptions! This will be the case at both the home and visitor entrances. 
2. All drink containers and bottles are prohibited no matter if they are sealed or unsealed (This will also include adults)
3. Coolers are prohibited. 
4. The following are prohibited: skateboards, footballs, soccer balls, or any other such objects. 
5. Pets are prohibited at any MS or HS event sanctioned by the IHSAA or the IGSHAU (Iowa Code 216C) 
6. Signs and noise makers are prohibited. 

Students are also reminded that they should be seated in the stadium bleachers during the game and should not be playing or loitering in the concession area or behind the stadium bleachers.
